REACHH EDTECH (EDUCATION & TECHNOLOGY)

“Education is an empowering right and one of the most powerful tools by which economically and socially marginalized children and adults can lift themselves out of poverty and participate fully in society.”

– UNESCO

OUR GOAL: Close the digital gap, unleash the power of technology on behalf of vulnerable children and adults, and to facilitate equality and inclusive learning opportunities for everyone.

THE CHALLENGE: Computers and online access are not automatically available in low-income households.  This highlights digital inequality in the most isolated and vulnerable households, as a major barrier to accessing learning.

OUR STRATEGY: Mobilizing resources and implementing innovative and context-appropriate solutions to provide education remotely, leveraging hi-tech, low-tech and no-tech approaches.

PROJECTS:

Digital Inclusion and Technology Access

Providing in-demand, marketable technology and critical thinking skills development training, access to broadband benefits, and redistribution of repurposed technology devices to connect low-income households to the Internet and online learning resources.

Mindful Meditation Intervention for Youth

Inspired by an organization's efforts in Baltimore, Maryland implementing miindful meditation as an alternative to in-school detention, our objective is to rollout this program to all public schools in the United States especially those located in the most vulnerable and isolated communities.
